Hello there!

My name is Erik! I am a student of The Game Assembly, where I am wrapping up my education in Level Design, and a graduate of Futuregames, where I studied Game Design.

Ever since I was young, I have loved creating things, whether stories, Lego, or making up my own side stories in games that ran alongside the main story. This later developed into loving creating things for others to enjoy. So, the two most logical steps were to create my own Dungeons and Dragons world that my friends could play in and to become a game developer.

My introduction to games was watching my older brother sit and play games on his computer. But what started me on my journey of loving them was playing Halo 3 Co-op with him on his Xbox 360. That was the trigger that made young Erik love video games, and those are some of my most treasured memories.

At the end of my time at Futuregames, I had my internship at The Gang, where I worked as a generalist designer. D worked on several of their smaller games during this time nd prototyped a few others.

I am very friendly and open. Having been a Scout almost my entire life, I have become an outstanding team player who thrives in a team of like-minded individuals. I am very good at both taking and giving feedback. I love to sit and brainstorm and to learn and try new things.

In my free time, besides playing games, I read fiction, play guitar, watch movies and series, help my parents in the yard, build and play with Warhammer 40k figures, be in nature or out on the ocean, and enjoy time with my friends. Recently, I started getting into Larping.

I am currently looking for an internship between September 2025 and April 2026. If you are interested, do not hesitate to reach out!
